We've been carefully monitoring the situation through the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), and local health authorities in our communities. Please rest assured; we have protocols in place to address current safety concerns on the advice of these organizations.
As a part of our protocols, our stores have an extensive disinfection checklist, and they have increased their cleaning and disinfecting procedures to maintain a healthy environment. This includes increasing the frequency of disinfecting highly trafficked areas. Additionally, we're taking extra precautions to mitigate risk, including supplying our stores and employees with disinfectants, hand-sanitizer, and educational materials. This also includes our delivery teams. We are ensuring that our warehouse staff and delivery professionals adhere to strict protocols when interacting with our customers.
Finally – and out of an abundance of caution, we have asked any employee who is not feeling well to stay home and to self-monitor their symptoms.
