General Warehouse Associate

Purpose:
The GWA is cross-trained and certified in multiple areas of the warehouse operations and deployed to flex throughout the day as assigned by management. This role is designed to provide internal upward mobility as specialty positions become open.

Job Requirements/Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to be cross-trained and functional in multiple skill sets.
  • Ability to multi-task and report to different departments each day as assigned by management.
  • Must support GrandBrand Core Values on a daily basis.
  • Must be able to work a schedule that supports the needs of the business.
  • Lifting and movement of merchandise with a forklift
  • Unloading and loading of trucks
  • Sweeping, recycling, and trash removal
  • Repairing furniture and quality assurance
  • May have to be customer-facing with the solid customer service experience
  • Ability to keep paperwork in order and follow SOP's

Physical Demands / Environment :
  • Ability to lift on average 50lbs with assistance. This could be a dual role in the office and warehouse, so long periods of time on your feet and at a desk.
  • The warehouse is exposed to external temperature.

Tools / Equipment:
  • Will be around machinery and moderate noise level. Forklift experience is a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office a plus.

Recovery relationship Specialist

Purpose:
A Recovery Relationship Specialist's main goal is to collect previously charged-off accounts to see if they are eligible to be re-activated or collected. The Recovery accounts have to be skipped properly by the specialist, seeking a legal path for collections. The associate is also responsible for setting a payment arrangement with a customer that is suitable for the company and collector to resolve the debt. The position involves starting any eligible legal work to collect the account or stopping any current legal actions, reestablishing the customer payment history. This position will provide strategic management of accounts and relationships with customers.

Essential Functions:
  • Initiating any eligible legal action on an account with no recent payment  in the last 40 days
  • Contact customers regarding their account with previous payments in the last 40 days and set up acceptable payment arrangements to bring their account to a recency status
  • Setting accounts upon payment arrangements to get the customer account paid in full or in good status for additional purchases
  • Ability to understand how and when to negotiate with a customer
  • Understand the legal paths that are available for different accounts
  • Understand how to skip trace on a customer to locate the necessary information for the variety of accounts 
  • Excellent/professional oral and written communication skills with both internal, and external customers and peers
  • Excellent listening skills 
  • Ability to process and understand customer responses 
  • Provides outstanding customer service to our customers while adhering to established company policies and procedures
  • Proficient computer knowledge with Microsoft tools

Merchandise Re-Buyer

Purpose:

The Merchandise Re-buyer will continually manage a group of items, as assigned by the Group Manager — Replenishment, to assure GrandBrands will maximize business and profitability.

Job Requirements Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Review and validate weekly sales and inventory data to ensure optimum inventory levels
  • necessary to meet projected sales demands.
  • Modify recommendations based on promotional and seasonal trend

  • Build a rapport with Warehouse personnel to ensure execution and allocation

  • Collaborates with and supports buyer with strategy building, an assortment

Sales Associate

Purpose:
Sales Associates are vital to delivering the guest experience that offers a distinctive shopping experience and drives sales results. While all positions within GrandBrands require working as part of a team to meet department and store objectives, your individual responsibilities as a Sales Associate may include demonstrating outstanding guest service and selling skills.

Essential Functions:
  • Meeting and making a connection with guests, asking questions, and listening to their needs, then giving options and advice on meeting those needs.
  • Inspiring the guest to purchase, celebrating the purchase, and creating a lasting positive impression of you, GrandBrands, and the overall experience.
  • Maintain a professional attitude with sincerity and enthusiasm reflecting GrandBrands commitment to our guest – the most important person in our stores.
  • Develop product knowledge by reading current vendor tags and pamphlets and attending training classes in order to communicate it to the guest.
  • Maintain sales goals and selling standards as specified by management.
  • Must be able to produce a level of sales required by management and GrandBrands policy by connecting with guests, selling products, and meeting their needs.
  • Reinforce guest selection (Opening the Sale).
  • Give suggestions and add-ons sales.
  • Explain special financing plans, delivery procedures, warranties, etc.
  • Produce and maintain a level of sales goals required by management and serving guests by selling products and meeting their individual product & service needs.

Credit Relationship Manager

Purpose:
The Credit relationship manager position is designed to support the GrandBrands Customer Service Department and Retail Stores. This position's primary responsibility involves processing customer-financed contracts and contacting customers regarding their accounts. This position will provide strategic management of accounts and relationships with customers in the following areas:

  • Processing new and add-on contracts
  • Maintaining customer records
  • Processing payments

The Credit Relationship Manager position is a mid-level position and supporting role within the GrandBrands customer service department. Interested candidates should excel in customer service, listening phone skills, resolving conflict, and identifying customers’ needs with account management, multi-tasking, and quality assurance.

Essential Functions:
  • Greet and welcome guests in a professional manner
  • Opens new guest accounts and provides information to the new and prospective guest by explaining GrandBrands products and services
  • Provide in-person and by-telephone general and specific related information concerning GrandBrands products or policies
  • Respond to guests’ requests, problems, and complaints, resolving issues, and/or directing them to the appropriate person for specific information and assistance.
  • Answer questions, provide information and/or route calls appropriately
  • Processes all guests’ transactions in person, and/or via phone
  • Utilizes tact and experienced-based knowledge to research and resolve guest inquiries explaining specific policies, procedures, products, and/or services

Inbound (Receiving) Supervisor

Purpose:

The purpose of the Inbound (Receiving) Supervisor is to ensure that all product received is accounted for accurately and free of damage or defect.

Essential Functions:
  • Responsible for leading a team that receives all incoming merchandise and supplies.
  • Ensuring accurate inventory of all incoming product.
  • Responsible for timely completion of trucks and that the delivery floor is cleared at the end of every shift.
  • Strong communication with the buying department on receipt issues and quality issues.
  • Provides leadership with visibility to statistics pertaining to truck packing, shortages and damages received.
  • Must support GrandBrand Core Values on a daily basis.
  • Must be able to work a schedule that supports the needs of the business.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily team meetings and feedback on the team’s performance.
  • Ensures that the team is equipped with proper tools, supplies and safety equipment on the receiving floor.
  • Establishes and maintains the production development process and is responsible for implementation of software/solution metrics.
  • Responsible for communicating workforce needs to the Warehouse manager on a daily basis.

Physical Demands / Environment:
  • This is a warehouse based job.
  • Shifts will be spent walking the warehouse to ensure productivity. Although the office is temperature controlled, it is in a location that is not.

  • Tools / Equipment:
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Experience with productivity analysis preferred.

    Education and Training:
    • High school diploma or GED equivalent required. College or work experience in dispatching preferred.
